RUBATEC has collaborated intensively, with all the human and material resources at its disposal, in the implementation of the Campaign Hospital installed in the Vall d'Hebron Olympic Sports Centre, in front of the Vall d'Hebron Hospital in Barcelona. The Campaign Hospital is, for all intents and purposes, one more floor of the Vall d'Hebron Hospital dedicated exclusively to patients with COVID-19.
After a first meeting with Technical staff from the Hospital and the Horta-Guinardó District of Barcelona on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 12:00 noon, the first 22 beds were ready to be occupied on Sunday, March 29 in the early morning. On Tuesday March 31, also in the early hours, they were able to occupy the remaining 110 beds.
We can say that we are very proud of all the RUBATEC staff, who, directly or indirectly and working 24 hours in the last few days, have made this possible. We are still active and working in the Sports Centre doing maintenance tasks.
Finally, from RUBATEC we want to thank the health personnel, firefighters, technicians and municipal officials, police and other collaborators, for their involvement in this project that is so necessary for citizens now. (+info)
